દિલ્હીમાં રેસલરો દ્વારા ધરણા અને ઉત્પીડન આરોપો બાદ ખેલ મંત્રાલયે શનિવારે (21 જાન્યુઆરી) કુસ્તી સંઘના અધિક સચિવ વિનોદ તોમરને સસ્પેન્ડ કરી દીધા હતા. ખેલાડીઓને સૌથી વધુ ફરિયાદો વિનોદ તોમર સાથે જ હતી. પાછલા દિવસે કેન્દ્રીય રમતગમત મંત્રી અનુરાગ ઠાકુર સાથેની વાતચીત બાદ કુસ્તીબાજોએ તેમની હડતાળ સમાપ્ત કરવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો હતો.
