BJP declares ‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan as CM candidate for Kerala assembly polls

Kerala BJP chief K Surendran has declared that ‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan as its chief minister candidate for the upcoming Kerala assembly polls 2021.

E Sreedharan, the architect of the Delhi Metro, had formally joined the BJP on February 25 in the presence of Union minister RK Singh at a function at Changaramkulam in Malappuram district when the ‘Vijay Yatra’ led by Surendran reached there.

The tenure of the 14th Kerala legislative assembly will come to an end on June 1, 2021. A total of 2,67,88,268 voters will elect the candidates in Kerala for the 15th legislative assembly.
