Germany to lift entry ban, eases travel restrictions on travellers from India and other nations

(G.N.S) Dt. 6

Easing strict restrictions on travel from India and other nations, Germany has lifted the entry ban for people coming to the nation.

Germany’s national disease control centre, the Robert Koch Institute, said that Britain, Portugal, Russia, India and Nepal will be removed from the country’s highest risk category of “virus variant areas” effective Wednesday. They will move into the second-highest category of “high-incidence areas.”

The change eases a ban on entry for travelers who are not German residents or citizens, instead meaning anyone will be able to enter as long as they observe quarantine and testing rules.
