Indian cinema’s iconic, legendary actor, Dilip Kumar passes away at the age of 98 years. He was born as Muhammad Yousuf Khan.
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passes away after prolonged illness, his family and doctors treating him said. ‘Tragedy king’ Dilip Kumar was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility. “He passed away due to prolonged illness at 7.30 am,” Dr Jalil Parkar, who had been treating the actor, told.
The burial of late actor Dilip Kumar will take place at at 5:00 PM today at the Juhu Qabrastan, Mumbai. It was announced that Dilip Kumar will be accorded a state funeral on the instructions of CM Thackeray.
Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray was among the many public personalities and celebrities arriving at the residence of late legendary actor, Dilip Kumar, to pay their last respects.
