CM Thackeray reviews rescue operations underway in Mahad Taluka in Raigad

Multi agency rescue operations being carried out with the help of helicopters , NDRF team, SDRF teams and even local NGO’s and fishermen in Raigad’s Mahad. Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray reviews rescue operations carried by NDRF, SDRF and NGO’s.

“Five people died in Raigad district due to landslides and floods,” Nidhi Chaudhary, District Collector, Raigad said. She had earlier informed that 15 people have been rescued from the landslides. At least 30 people are still trapped inside, she had said earlier.
