Drug regulator in Australia approves Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for use with 12- to 15-year-olds

Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt said that as nation fights an outbreak of the Delta variant in three states. Australia’s drug regulator has given an approval to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for use with 12 to 15-year-olds, that will be a major help in a fight against the infection.

Therapeutic Goods Administration has thoroughly assessed the domestic and international evidence before extending its approval for the Pfizer vaccine to be administered to this age group, Mr Hunt said in a statement.
