The Government has notified the appointment of Justice Tashi Rabstan senior-most judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as Acting Chief Justice of the High Court. Justice Rabstan will take over on December 8, 2022 following the retirement of current Chief Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey. He was appointed as an additional judge of the High Court in March 2013 and was made a permanent judge in May 2014.
