The government has enacted a reshuffled at the level of Additional Secretary rank officers with immediate effect including in-citu upgradation of two officers. The names of these officers are as follows:-
- Rashmi Chowdhary (IRPS: 1989), has been appointed appointed as Secretary, Central Information Commission, Department of Personnel and Training in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
- Sanjeev Kumar Chadha (IFoS: 1989: OR) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.
- Vumlunmang Vualnam (IAS: 1992: MN) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
- Ramesh Krishnamurthi (IRS IT: 1992) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment.
- Amit Agrawal (IAS: 1993: CG) has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
- Richa Sharma (IAS: 1994: CG) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
- L S Changsan (IAS: 1994: AM) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- R Anand (IPoS: 1994) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development.
- Maninder Kaur Dwivedi (IAS: 1995: CG) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare with additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium.
- Vipin Kumar (IAS: 1996: BH) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
- Sunil Kumar Barnwal (IAS: 1997: JH) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.
- Shyam Jagannathan (IAS: 1997: AM) has been appointed as Director General (Shipping), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
- Subodh Kumar Singh (IAS: 1997: CG) has been appointed as Director General, National Testing Agency, Ministry of Education in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post.
- In-situ upgradation of the following officers to the level of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post held by them:
- Sanjay Sethi (IAS: 1992: MH), Chairman, Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways was appointed as Chairman, Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
- Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS: 1996: AM), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
