Before some days, Director School Education Kashmir DSEK had proposed for winter vacation to be given to schools from December 1 of 2022 in view of the prevailing cold wave in Kashmir.
Principal Secretary School Education Department (SED), Alok Kumar has said that the winter vacation for students up to class 5th will began from December 5, 2022 followed by 6th to 8th class students from December 12,2022.
He also said that winter vacation for students from 9th to 12th will commence from December 19,2022.
“We have made some changes in the proposal forwarded by the director education Kashmir. But the dates have been finalized and order has been issued as well,” Alok Kumar told.
